Privacy
Rain Gap is a static page. It has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no server of its own.
If you tap "Use my location", your browser asks for permission first. The location is rounded to about 100 m and stays in this browser on this device, together with your duration and strictness choices and the last forecast it downloaded.
To get the forecast, the page sends coordinates (Capitol Hill's, or yours if you chose "Use my location") to Open-Meteo, and to nobody else. Open-Meteo has its own terms and privacy policy.
"Reset to Capitol Hill" forgets your location. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes everything.
